ORDER FORM

Welcome!

Why not capture your words (or your authors') on an audio CD and sell them to expand the profitability of your publication(s)?

Why not put those words, or others, in a new format on to expand your product display?

Then add them to your product list at your website? And bundle them with the original book?

If you already are producing audio cassettes, why not replace them with audio CDs? Or combine audio and text CDs?

If you have a main message worth publishing, why not two, three, or a dozen related messages that extend your expertise or your author's, each produced on their own audio CD?

I'm Gordon Burgett. I've been a publisher since 1982, had 1,700+ articles in print, authored 27 of my own books, created 25 audio cassette singles and series, and given over 2,000 paid presentations. Now we've added four new audio CD programs, are finishing a six-hour audio book package, and have at least a dozen more audio CDs on the production docket this year and next. So I had to get a handle on this process.

Let me share what I learned, for only $20. Why? So you too can increase you product income! We can send this information to you as an audio CD (73 minutes), as a report (26 pages), or as a .pdf download of that report (without tax or shipping).

If you want to buy any of the three, just fill out the ORDER FORM and it's en route!

Want to read the opening section of this audio CD, report, or download?

Here it is:

The purpose of this audio CD isn’t to tell you how to be a better publisher. It’s to suggest that audio CDs might help you share your information with more buyers and thus increase your bottom line.

It’s an admirable thing to put ideas and words on paper, yet another to also share them, as is, abridged, or refocused to a particular readership on an audio CD.

The process is essentially the same whether you do the speaking, the author speaks, or you let another person utter the words. You need a script (or at least a guiding outline), a few recording tools, some editing software, and a CD-writing computer, some of which are already at hand.

Of course, some people just want to read your printed product, yet there are others who would (amazingly) hear it instead! Many will eagerly buy it in both formats. So audio CDs are a natural back-up product (that could become a lead money maker). Best yet, they are really easy to produce once you get the hang of it. Learning curve? About one CD. The cost, almost nothing to experiment, several hundred bucks (maybe $400 tops) to do it like a pro.

Here we will focus on the process, assuming you have a working text to start from.

Incidentally, I don't make much of my living by selling $20 audio CDs, although I'm of course glad to sell to you! Much of my income, other than from publishing and speaking, comes from consulting about my key field, empire-building by writing and speaking. Usually I spend a day (sometimes a half day) helping a person create their own empire, mostly helping them strategize, plan a develpmental order, prioritize the most appropriate means, and then put together the final products or services. If that interests you, check the home page (the link button follows) or just give me a call at (800) 563-1454. If I'm elsewhere speaking or working, I'll call you back within a day.
